Our Vision

The right support, at the right time.  Helping children, families, and systems grow stronger together.

A Little About Us

Your Space Foundation is a not-for-profit counselling and psychotherapy service supporting children, young people, families, and the professionals around them. We work with care, depth, and integrity, creating spaces where people feel understood rather than assessed, supported rather than judged.

We understand that seeking help for a child can feel daunting. Our role is to steady the process, reduce overwhelm, and offer thoughtful, evidence-informed support that meets families where they are.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful work you have done with A, I'm so grateful. A is feeling less scared about being separated from me."

Our Approach

Our work is grounded in the belief that behaviour is a form of communication and that every child’s experience makes sense in context. We work in a trauma-informed, relational way, helping children feel safer, more regulated, and better able to engage with life.

Support is often offered across three connected pillars:

  • Children & Young People – individual counselling using talking, creative, play-based, and integrative approaches

  • Parents & Carers – therapeutic parenting support and guidance to strengthen understanding and connection

  • Professionals – supervision, training, and consultancy to support reflective practice

This joined-up approach helps ensure children are supported not just in sessions, but within the wider systems around them.

Our Offer

  • Counselling for children and young people (ages 5–18)

  • Specialist support for trauma, bereavement and anticipatory grief, and EBSA

  • Therapeutic parenting support and resources

  • Clinical and restorative supervision for professionals

  • Training and partnership work with schools, organisations, and services

Sessions are offered face-to-face and online, depending on need and preference.

Our Values

We are at our best when:

  • A child feels seen and heard, rather than assessed

  • A parent feels supported rather than judged

  • A professional feels steadied rather than overwhelmed

Our work sits at the intersection of clinical depth, compassion, and holistic care.

Working With Us

We work both privately and in partnership with schools, charities, local authorities, and community organisations. This allows us to offer accessible support while maintaining high clinical standards and strong safeguarding practice.

Taking The Next Step

You do not need to have everything worked out before getting in touch. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, or a professional looking to collaborate, we welcome a conversation about what might help.
