Yvette supports children, young people, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and are looking for sensitive, specialist support. With over 20 years’ experience in practice, she brings a calm, compassionate presence, helping people feel safe, understood, and supported.

Yvette is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, trainer, and author of a children’s book, and she is the Clinical Lead at Your Space Foundation. Her work focuses on supporting children and young people affected by complex and historical trauma, including those who are adopted, in care, or who have experienced sexual abuse or assault. She works closely with local authorities and specialist services, supporting children from as young as four years old.

Alongside her clinical work, Yvette trains and supervises counsellors and therapists in trauma-informed practice and contributes to research exploring the effectiveness of trauma therapy for children and families. She remains committed to creating safe, ethical, and trauma-aware spaces where healing and recovery can begin.
