Meet Niki

Psychotherapist

Niki supports children, young people, and adults who are facing emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges and need a safe, supportive therapeutic space. She offers a warm, personalised approach, helping children feel heard, understood, and empowered to develop coping skills and confidence. 

Niki is a Level 7 qualified integrative counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling for Children and Young People. She is a registered member of the BACP and works both face-to-face and online, providing flexible support tailored to each young person’s needs. Her integrative approach draws on play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and person-centred techniques, ensuring that therapy is meaningful, engaging, and child-centred. 

Niki is committed to offering compassionate, tailored support in a safe and non-judgemental space, helping children and families build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Niki has extensive experience supporting children and young people with:

  • Anxiety, social anxiety, and panic attacks

  • Low self-esteem and confidence issues

  • School stress, school refusal, and peer difficulties

  • Trauma, behavioural challenges, and coping skills

  • Depression, mood disorders, and emotional regulation

  • Autism and developmental differences

  • Family conflict, divorce/separation, and transitions

  • Bullying and emotional disturbance

  • Stress and thinking patterns

  • Self-harm and PTSD symptoms

Qualifications & Professional Training

  • Level 7 Master’s Degree in Counselling for Children and Young People

  • BACP Registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist

  • Diploma in Counselling Studies (Levels 1–3)

  • Integrative therapeutic training (CBT, play therapy, person-centred)

  • Trauma-informed practice

  • Online and remote counselling delivery
