Meet Ioana
Psychotherapist
Ioana supports children and young people who are finding things difficult emotionally or feeling overwhelmed by school, relationships, or life changes. She offers a calm, caring space where young people can talk openly, feel listened to, and begin to understand what they are experiencing.
Ioana is an integrative school and associate therapist, working across education and therapeutic settings. She is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is currently completing her MSc in Counselling Children and Young People. Her work includes individual and group therapy, crisis support, and close collaboration with families and school staff to ensure joined-up care.
Alongside her therapeutic work, Ioana has experience supporting children and young people in care and residential settings. She works in a trauma-aware and attachment-informed way, tailoring her approach to each young person’s needs and pace.
