Meet Deena

Safeguarding Manager

Psychotherapist

Deena supports children and young people who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling to make sense of what they are experiencing. With over 15 years’ experience working with vulnerable children and young people, she offers a calm, compassionate space where they can feel safe, understood, and accepted as they are.

Deena is a Masters-qualified counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She has worked across community, education, and therapeutic settings, supporting children, young people, and their families through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Her work is integrative and child-centred, recognising that every young person is unique and that support needs to be shaped around their individual experiences and needs.

Alongside her professional work, Deena is a proud football mum and values balance, connection, and time with family. She enjoys cooking, travelling, and relaxing together, experiences that inform her warm, grounded, and human approach to therapy.

Deena is deeply committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and effective support, creating a safe and supportive space where children and young people feel heard, respected, and supported to grow.
